About Magill

Charles Arthur “Chuck” Magill was born in Chicago, reared in Iowa and chose Tulane University to launch “the rest of the story”. Whether it was Commander’s Palace Turtle Soup or ice cold Dixie Beer and boiled crawfish that hooked him for a lifetime, who knows – he’s one of ours!!!

Of course, one must make a living in order to indulge one’s respective appetites, and he chose hotels as a vocation and wine as an avocation  – a happy and convenient mode in order to indulge and merge a pursuit of fine cuisine and New Orleans’ inordinate sense of hospitality.
